Have you ever dreamed of being so wealthy that you could walk into any store and buy anything your heart desired? Or maybe buy any car you wanted? You never had to worry about whether the funds were in the bank. Money was no option. I am always dreaming of things to buy, or adding on a room, or putting a pool in my backyard. As soon as that is done I go on to the next thing and it goes on and on and on. Do you ever dream like that?
Proverbs 8:18 says, “With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth……….”
Have you ever looked up the word wealth? The Webster dictionary defines it as, “a great quantity or store of money, valuable possessions, property, or other riches, an abundance or profusion of anything; plentiful amount.”
Wealth is not only money. Wealth is an abundance of anything. It could be time, energy, patience, love, or forgiveness that is in abundance.
Our Lord has enduring wealth. He is wealthy in wisdom, in love, in courage. He is just WEALTHY. He has everything we need at his disposal.
What do you need: love, to feel loved, courage, wisdom, a friend?
He has everything (and lots of it) that you need. Just ask. Because the Lord is wealthy.
