Numb

Do you know the feeling of when you break a bone or cut yourself that you have just a momentary time of numbness…..and then the pain rages……I am at the numb stage knowing the pain will rage………..
This morning in the midst of cleaning off my desk I found these notes that I had written on napkins, envelopes, post its, and notebook paper……….this is everyone I found today…….nothing like perfect timing!!!!!!!!
1.    If you are willing to change your thinking, you can change your feelings.
If you change your feelings, you can change your actions.
And changing your actions-based on good thinking can change your life.

2.    So here’s what I think: The best thing you can do RIGHT now is to finish what you started last year and not let those good intentions grow stale. Your heart’s been in the right place all along. You’ve got what it takes to finish it up, so go for it. Once the commitment is clear, you can do what you can, not what you can’t.  The heart regulates the hands.  2 Corinthians 8:10 (The Message Bible)

3.    Guard & watch your attitude. There is a relationship between good times – good attitude. Bad times – bad attitude…… Our attitude is our greatest asset or our greatest liability…..  Attitude isn’t everything but it is the main thing that makes a difference in a person’s life……  It’s not what happens outside us but what happens in us……. If you are not learning in the midst of your losses – your losses will continue.

4.    Transparency – The gift of allowing others to see through you. Being humble enough to let others see your faults, in order to share in your victories. Bold enough to admit your defeats……Having the willingness and integrity to stand tall in the midst of trials.

5.    It is so hard to do the right thing when we feel the wrong way…..

6.    Walk on purpose…….Like one who knows where they want to go……..What is it you want? Then PRAY for it!

7.    God is never going to ask you to do something that does not do you good…….

8.    Make the Word of God the center focus of your life…….The key to change: move beyond your fear………The key to peace: Do what you can do, then not be upset what you can’t do. Enjoy where we are at, as we go to where we are going…………

9.    And to sum it all up: At the bottom of the pile of paperwork was a bookmark my sister in law sent me weeks ago………….KEEP CALM & CARRY ON………………………..

I have the courage to do that now………………..
